Doing practical now!!

Being busy lately and no internet connections to be found. In this semester i will go through a whole lot of new experience which is practical/internship. Before this my lecturer asks us(class) to send our resumes to companies that we want to practical at and wait for reply. I've got two in kedah with both reasonable allowances, but my friend didn't get anywhere until the end of last semester. Finally he ask some help of his cousin working in Petronas Gas in Kertih and coincidently he asks me to give me my resume and then i got to go there with the allowance of rm500 per month.

At first I thought it was a lot but after living in Paka for awhile now i know why they give the allowance so high because the cost of living here is very high. Standard food prices outside are RM4-RM5. So, instead of enjoying the allowance I need to be more careful managing the money than spending it on non-useful stuff or food. Even my house rent is Rm500 divided by 3 and the landlord told us not to add more people or they will charge more...

I've been here for a month now staring 5th of December 2011 and there's free wifi internet from my neighbor at first but then he no know that someone is using his wifi then he puts a password in it and after a whole lot of learning to hack a wifi password, finally i managed to hack his password haha, yes...

And then there's the story of people I've meet with all sorts of behaviour, people who are lazy, hardworking but sometimes lazy and many more people with lots and lots of trouble coming ahead of me...I hope I can survive this semester with flying colours or just like I am always being...normal....see you next time

Raya comes again!!!

This years raya seems to be come closer but its in the middle of the semester making this raya another unhappy raya too, just like last year, after raya I had to prep for finals but this raya is a little bit better because it is far from finals(maybe around a month or so), so I can go home and raya a little bit happpier than last year. That's a little bit improvement on my emotion this year..

So, Ramadhan is just finishing its last days, and also the gates of HELL will start to open again and out comes all the Syaitans(devils) to continue their work of making HUmans to go HELL with them at the end of the world.

So, i hope this years ramadhan is the best for all of you because we don't know if we can still live to go through next year's ramadhan before dying but my ramadhan this year is just like HELL i would say because its the best and the worst ramadhan i've gone through...

I've done a lot of ibadah this year especially finally completing the Quran Insya-Allah but I also did bad things in this year's ramadhan, things that makes my pahala goes down while fasting and things that nearly make me skip my fast...

SO, in this wonderful month and this opportunity, I would like to say Selamat HAri Raya Aidilfitri to whoever's reading and Maaf Zahir BAtin to whoever's reading and to whoever I have made wrong to them, I would like to say sorry this time of the year, so happy holidays and be happy celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri after a month of fasting....and I hope for me and my readers to try to continue the amal and ibadah done in Ramadhan in other months too...Insya-Allah.. :-|

Fraser Hill Trip-Review

patutnya dah lame buat post ni, dah lama dah pergi mase cuti sem lepas sebulan sempat la gi jalan2 sambil2 duk sibuk buat lesen kreta yang kali ke brape dh x ingat pastu sambil menyambut undangan perkahwinan saudara di Kuantan..

sebelum nk pergi tu puas hati buat research nak pergi ikut jalan mana paling dekat dan paling jimat sebab dah dengar bnyk suggestion2 dari orang lain, last skali ikut jalan sendiri, ikut jalan short-cut masuk kampung siam mana dh tapi jalan dua hala dia sempitla, sempitla buat kreta mpv, kreta biasa stakat lepas jer, mcm jalan mase british baru buat dulu2

sebut jalan dua hala tu sebab nanti jumpa jalan satu hala nak naik Fraser Hill ni, dia panggil jalan GAP, x tahulah sebab ape dia panggil gitu tp mungkin sebab dia gap 8 kilo tu kot. Jalan naik dia 8km last tu memang satu hala jela, memang satu hala jela muat pun, xmuat nk lalu dua kreta, satu kreta pun lepas2 je...

lepas makan kenduri kat kuantan terus bertolak hala ke KL pastu kluar kat Karak pastu masuk jalan short-cut tu sebelum smpai Bentong. Mase naik tu ok lagi, x la raser pening2 ape lagi, adik2 dua orang muka biru dh, nk muntah, yg tu dua orang jalan atas darat pun nk muntah kalau jalan lama2, hahaha sedap kutuk orang...

lepas tidur sejuk giler malam tu, naik pun petang jadi xsempat nk mandi air terjun sebagaimana yg telah diplan atas sebab tolak lambat dari kenduri... turunla dari situ....malam tu gi jalan2 dh kat pekan kecik dia kat atas tuh, mujurla ade de-humidifier kalau x mati sek=juk bekula, hahaha...

Alah turun gilerla dahlah ader bas duduk depan, pastu tunggula dia duk ejas2 body dia reverse, depan ,reverse balik nk bagi lepas jalan... last skali kat tengah jalan brau dia bagi potong sbb kesian ramai tunggu kat blakang, turun pun satu hala tapi ikut jalan lainla, kalau dulu naik turun guna jalan sama pastu ikut jamla siapa naik siapa turun tapi skrng dh slamat sebab dh siap jalan baru. x tahu sebab aper jalan turun raser nk muntah sngt, tahan2, control macho depan adik2, tapi giler memang nk muntah betulla hahaha mujurla x muntah.. last skali lega sbb dh jalan rata pastu brenti makan kat bentong pastu makan asam plk, lagila sembuh rasa loya tu...

gitula sdikit sbnyk review kat Fraser Hill, kalau kira bkn banyk pun criter pasal tempat tu, bnyk criter tengah jalan nk pergi je hahaha, tp sedapla kalau duk lame kat situ kot, sbb bnyk bnde jgk blh buat, jungle trekking, mandi air terjun, nikmati raser sejuk, sentuh low-clouds kalau blh, mkn pun blh jgk, kalau kluar pg2 tu bila ckp brasap la mcm kat oversea haha betul ke x ,xtahu la try la sendiri tengok....the end

ouuuh, lamer x post, naik isu panas baru nk post.

serabutla dengan mainan politik ni, nak2 dengan rancangan Anuar Ibrahim dalam menjalankan BERSIH 2.0 esok,

dengan polis buat road-block seminggu sebelum program nih, matikan permit bas masuk ke KL, semua pengangkutan awam disekat dan latestnya ada desas-desus yang mengatakan kerajaan akan menutup semua telekomunikasi elektronik esok bagi mengelak dari anggota BERSIh 2.0 boleh berhubung sesama mereka, tapi yang nak marahnya orang2 yg duduk luar KL pun kene effect dia jgk nanti, kalau nk block pun buatla kat KL jer, takkan esok internet down kot.

Anggota BERSIH 2.0 pun menjawab walau apa-pun terjadi mereka akan sampai ke Stadium Merdeka yang melambangkan kebebasan, ahahah.

Kerajaan pun oleh kerana takutnya BERSIH 2.0 berjaya, terpaksalah guna segala macam cara yang boleh, dari membuat ugutan akan menggunakan ISA, membuat tuduhan anggota BERSIH akan membuat huru-hara walaupun ia mungkin dimulakan oleh pihak lain, sehinggalah titah perintah dari Yang-Dipertuan Agung sendiri supaya tidak mengadakan perhimpunan haram di stadium merdeka.

tapi apa-apa hal yang paling penting orang2 bwh ni mesti nak teruskan perjuangan mereka sampailah berjaya menjejakkan kaki ke Stadium merdeka untuk kebebasanlah katakan...kecuali big boss (Anuar Ibrahim) kata berhenti n xpayah last minute...hahahah

tengok2 polis dengan askar duduk tunggu dah dalam stadium sekali dengan alat2 perang dah nk lawan dengan orang baju kuning ni....

we'll wait n see esok, tp yang penting kalau jadilah anggota BErsih ni mencapai goal mereka kita akan dapat mencapai Malaysia baru, Malaysia yang Anuar Ibrahim dan sekutunya duk rancang dulu lagi......

Mykad with added security features/Mykad baru

Patutnya dh lama sy post yg ni tapi x sempat sbb x berkesempatan masa.

-Mykad baru akan dikeluarkan tak lama lagi dan rakyat digesa untuk

bertukar kepada yang baru dengan harga RM10, ia dikatakan ditambah dengan ciri-ciri keselamatan untuk mengelak untuk ditiru atau dipalsukan oleh golongan yang tidak bertanggungjawab, ia akan dilengkapi dengan gambar yang diukir dengan laser dan bla, bla ,bla

Sebenarnya, MYkad baru ni bukan saja menyusahkan tapi juga memakan duit rakyat pada masa hdapan, memakan duit rakyat dalam proses membuatnya yang mengambil bebrapa juta dan memakan duit rakyat apabila ia rosak atau tidak sengaja dirosakkan oleh seseorang semasa proses membuat Mykad baru sebagai ganti. :<

Mykad lama pun mempunyai chip yang dikatakan tidak boleh ditiru tetapi penjenayah berjaya membuat salinn malah Mykad lama mempunyai chip yang mudah rosak disertai memori 64K tpai tidak pernah diguna oleh mana-mana agensi kerajaan selama mana Mykad beserta chip dibawa masuk kecuali untuk hal-hal penting sahaja serta kepada pengguna yang bijak mengguna dan menggunakan sebagai "touch n go" kad tetapi sedikit skali pengguna Malaysia menggunakannya begitu kerana takut Mykad rosak dan terpaksa diganti dngn yang baru dan dicaj beratu-ratus ringgit....

JAdi ,adakah Mykad baru ini berbaloi dibuat?? fikir2kanlah...

Long time no update here but nvm

Recently, my google chrome updates itself to the newest version it has and this has annoyed me evry much, so I have found a way not to do so as I like the way google chrome the old version one(my favourite version one), so here's the steps

1. Open Start Menu and then hit Run or if you are using Windows 7 press (Windows Logo+R)

2. Then type "regedit" (without qoutes)

3. Go to the following address:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Update

If don’t see the Google as key there in the left pane under Policies then you will need to create a key named "google" and then create a another key named "Update" under newly created Key Google

4. Create key under Update Key named DisableAutoUpdateChecksCheckboxValue as string key value and set its value to 1 to disable automatic google chrome update, if you want to enable the auto-updater set its value to 0.

Exit google chrome and you are done, google chrome will not update automatically now.

While I was walking to and from my study place I had to meet and see many faces, at bus stops, before entering classes etc. But one thing that makes me wonder why I keep seeing people with same faces, some my close friends and some are not but it makes me wonder for while, are them who i think they are or are they people that only have the same faces like my friends , huh i wonder....when will I meet one of mine, one with the same exact face of mine, I guess I have to go to a lot more places to meet one...

Alhamdulillah I'm safe here at the borders of Malaysia... haha.... continuing studies at one of the most unknown universities in Malaysia, maybe one will somehow here it once but will just forget the name just like that.

but when someone knows the uniqueness of this institute maybe they will never forget it. haven't unpacked my stuffs into my locker yet , I felt boring waiting for the school to start, I mean the learning sessions to start pacing again, to start the race to get high pointers again :( not that i can get high on that, Insha-Allah in the future...Insha-Allah and i mean it for real with all my hardwork will be focused on that only...

So, good luck for me for this sem, may Allah bless me and help me in every way HE can help me to get what i wanted in the near future...of course to get married and have a good work to support my family and lived happily ever after until akhirat... Insha-Allah..

We accept or accidentally accept values from all around us everday whether it is good values or bad values. We can get them from watching TV shows, communicating with people or socializing with them or even worse living with them.

Living in closed community makes us, human like that. They start to accept other people's bad attitude or they didn't accept it at first after day by day, they watch and watch the people around him doing bad things and he cannot get away from it, he will eventually one day accept it or do some things similar or worse.

Friends for exmaple, close ones, we get to know each other, some are good and some are bad and somehow the bad or good things make us hating each other deep inside our hearts but we must accept it in order to live longer and be like by everyone but it will affect us somehow.

so it affects us by the values, close friends for example will share some values to each other at the end of the day or after a long relationship and one day they separate, THEN they will feel the ne value they got in them that was sucked from their friend whether it is good or bad. Its like sharing a cake but the ingredients usually doesn't come from the good stuff only but the ingredients now will com efrom the bad stuff also and you know what i mean. The stuff that makes us hate each other and that's the stuff we're eating and the stuff that will grow inside us changing and turning us into the good stuff or the bad stuff and THAT makes ourselves change day by day to the good side or the bad side....

So in a nutshell we must hate this bad stuff very much and keep away from socializing or being friend with the people containing the bad stuff...... but its hard to that nowadays after all in the world we are living now, its hard to find a good friend or neighbour that have the good stuff in them that can be shared with us in the future.....

My birthday is just around the corner with just a few days to come, i would totally be alone on that day and celebrate it on my own, my way.... even if somebody or someone or somegroup would celebrate it with me surprisingly.. i would not like it either because i hate people celebrating a birthday too much not that im a president or a noble-winner or an ulama' or something....

So, im getting old now and i hope i will change into a good and nice man slaving myself to Allah The Almighty, The Most Merciful, The Only One Rabb before stepping into my second decade life to make sure i change myslef into a well human being before getting old, or when its too late to change...

SOoooo Early Happy birthday too myself and good luck for me( to those reading this or not)( i dont pretty much care at all becoz this blog is mainly made for me to look into in the near future or when im dying with boredness when im old one day.... so tata......see you again sooner or later, hahaha..

okay, I just recovered from a major somewhat disease last week and i thought what is it, its so powerful i think it was the most powerful fever i ever had.

It all started after i went to BTN which is compulsory by the university and the day after we came back to our hotel some of my classmates had fever and me too had it but that only lasts for a day or two and was not so powerful.

but it was not healed well, it left me with a major cough with trouble to sleep at night and all that and it fell like hell to me.

And the real day came after 4 days coming home from the BTN programme, on that Friday morning the major fever started, my body started to heat fast. At that time when i held my hands together i felt like it was burning becoz it was soooo hot, i was covering myself with a blanket with legs outside(knew this tip after researching in the internet on how to cure fever naturally)

SO i waited and slept until came 1 o'clock and it was time to go for friday prayers and i thought i wanted to skip it becoz i was uncapable of walking properly at that time but i was adament to go too, so i had a quick bath and went early in order to catch a bus to go to the mosque becoz im afraid i could faint on the way to the mosque if i went walking, so after the prayers i went home and slept immediately......

in a mere 24 hours from that i recovered after finishing my antibiotics, haha how thankful and happy i Am but my cough isn't gone yet, my friends were all infected with the same thing one by one in order, haha and how fair it was amongst us, and how delightful i am becoz im not facing this myself even though not at the same time, haha :)

We came baack home just like we were working......we were very exhausted..

just a nother day at the workshop, the mechatronic workshop 1 subject,a compulsory subject, but this week we started doing sheet metal, cutting and bending, and hitting those aluminium sheet with all we got left from this afternoon's fasting.

we were doing those work like we were very thirsty and with some technical problem in the main (wrong dimensions) in the main drawing, we had to face some phsycological trauma...

and that's another day being a mechatronic engineeiring student hoping to get a piece of paper that might not worth anything to anyone if it gets lost, haha....just a joke....till then...

First day doing welding(should be on 19th july 2010)

First day doing welding, well it went well after a little bit of briefing but it was still a bad day full of bad n good things in the same day, fuuh, i sigh after facing that day,
so lets read what really happen that day:

Monday (19th July 2010)
IN the morning i had one class in pauh then i went back home, while just wearing a kain sarung(kain pelekat) i went out thinking of taking the right key in my hands and shutting the my door's room locked, and then it starts happening, my worst nightmare, i locked myself out with the wrong keys in my hand and by just wearing a t-shirt and a sarong, with just half an hour to class i didn't know what to do, i just relaxed at first hoping my roomate would come home with his keys to open the door, and guess what, my handphone was in there too, oooh , i thought i would never go to class that day even though its important bcause its a four hour class(workshop actually), so then i started getting afraid, afraid of misssing class... which i never done b4 since first sem, so i callled for help, first my housemate which is luckily my coursemate too, and then i called my friends, Sani n Aqmal to help me poke a card into the door's lock hoping it would open the door but we failed after all of us tried(it should be easy but that day felt hard even for everyone),

So, my housemate asked to lend me some trousers for me from Aqmal, so he agreed and gave a track-bottom thinking of me wont fit into his normal trousers cause im a little bit fat, hahaha(what a confession), so i wore it but i had to wear a t-shirt with a collar thinking of me going to class and into workshop,ohh and i forgot that i left my jacket in the room too, what a bad day it is... and then i hop in one of my friends cars to go to class which is a little bit far from the hostel....and then i borrowed a jacket from another housemat of mine on the way to go to class, luckily...but it was still small, lol;;

SO, i went to my class and a little bit briefing and off we went welding by ourself which i never done b4 but i had seen it from close b4, bla bla bla, my friend went to the hospital because some hot metal jumped into his eye, hehe, but his skin eye burn turning into black luckily it didn't hit his eyeball.So, i had to take his metal he left behind and get questioned and scold by technician , huh , adding an extra credit to my bad day, ahhh.

but then at the end of the day, i thought, what the hell , i didn't see it, i got helped by many of my friends at first and then i had to help my friend again but still i had a bad day but with a good thought of my friends are always there for me some day even if my friends are those who i never knew them and sociallize with them well.

p:s//haha on the night of my first welding day, i had a major eye pain just what the technician said but i didn't thought it would be so much pain,on the other day i had my eyes running with water like im crying 24 hours, it was like my tears water tap had leak,haha but on the third day it was fine again, how im glad tht day would come......

mesin ni sebab kalu x kenal maka x cinta, tapi mesin ni x blh kenal kita,biar kite je kenal dia baru kite kenal dia,
sebenarnya mesin ni mmg bahayer kalu salah masuk tangan ke baju ke dalam tu dia tetap pusing kecuali orang tekn emergency break dia, ader setengah tu rosak emergency break , tunggu maser jelah kawan tuh...hehe

ok kami pun startlah buat lead tuh, kene kerat sikit demi sikit, mula2 group kami(sorang lagi kawan ) lambat tapi akhir2 bl potong org lain haha, puas hati..

kene potong skit2, nanti dia kluar besi tu dari megangda tu kalu ptoong bnyk,dia siap blh tukar speed lagi, nak brape rpmlah, aper semua....

Been so long since last post

all of that is because of me getting busy(or pretending to be busy) on studying(hard)

Its a long journey getting home
10 hours of journey

it all started with a chaos early in the morning
on the other night me n my friend, sham are at wit's end when we dont know what to do because we dont have a solution to get to kangar to go home
then i decided to call a friend of mine who lives in kangar, to ask him if he would have a taxi phone no. or something
then i asked him
but.....

he said he didnt have any...instead he offered to send me the next day in the morning

people in Perlis seems to be very helpful
just like on the first day I arrived there on registration day when i wanted to register to UniMAP, im finding a pale, and i asked and asked people for places, and finally when i asked a store, a stranger, who is a woman asked me what i wanted, then i answered and she showed me where the right store is.tht's the first impression of mine for people's in Perlis.

but now, my friend Sani just now is also like one of them,

if u want to make IE run faster you must make another different tweak that i could'nt remember,
but now its for firefox
so first step is to go to firefox and type in about:config at the navigation bar(the place where u always put url or website addresses hehe)

then click I'll be careful, I promise
now just search for 'pipelining' at the filter
then it will show four results
so the first one is to set the first one from false to true just by double clicking it
the second one
maxrequest=set it to 8 (also double click to change)
its maximum value is 8 but you can also put higher haha
to make sure it is the fastest speed you can get
then, the other two remaining down there just set it to true too

Don't Give Your Email Address and Password to Other Web Sites

From the no-kidding files: The New York Times discusses a neither new nor uncommon practice employed by less reputable web sites that ask for your email address and password, then spam everyone in your contact list.

I thought it was a little strange when I received separate e-mail messages from two people I knew only slightly asking me to click and see their photos on a social networking site called Tagged.

I ignored them at first, but then thought maybe I should check it out. After all, I should keep up on what's hot in the social networking world, right? This could be the new Twitter.

That's when I started doing everything wrong. I obligingly typed in my e-mail address and a password to see those photos. Well, the photos didn't exist, but I had unwittingly given the site "permission" to go through my entire e-mail contact list and send a message to everyone, inviting them to see my "photos."

The two screenshots you see here come from Tagged, the web site the author of the Times piece highlights. As you can see in the first shot, the site claims it's going to find out which of your friends are using Tagged already, but doesn't exactly scream "I'm going to spam your friends!" It's not until later that Tagged hints that it might be sending out unwanted emails to your entire contact list.

The problem is two-fold. First, as surprising as it may seem, some people actually intentionally use this "feature" to get their friends to join them. When that's the case, the problem isn't really with the web site—it's with the user. As a user, intentionally using a tool that emails everyone in your contact list is simply bad netiquette.

Second, and more importantly, web sites that employ this sort of spamming (it's not spamming, strictly speaking, nor is it exactly phishing, as the NYT points out) are more often than not violating your expectations as a user. Users are often unaware that their email information will be used to scrape their contact list and email all of their friends; frequently this disclosure is hidden in a site's terms of service.

Before we blow too hard on our righteous indignation whistle, let's just go straight to the takeaway for you and me, the users: Do not hand out your email credentials just because someone asked for them. It may seem obvious at this point (as I said, this practice isn't new), but whether you're at a phishing site or an actual web site looking to spam your friends, family, and coworkers, think very carefully about whether or not you want to give someone you don't know or trust the keys to one of your most important portals of communication. Occasionally you will find a reputable site or service to which you are willing to hand over those credentials, so it's not set in stone that you can't give them out. But be aware that when you do, you need to consider the possible consequences.

We'd assume that most Lifehacker readers are already savvy enough to avoid these pitfalls, but if you know some folks who commonly fall for these sort of traps, go ahead and forward on to your less savvy friends. Click at pen(sharp pen)
start to cut the image you want(for curve cutting you must make many points or follow the cutting tips)

Cutting tips:

Select point:hit Ctrl key+click on the point
Delete point:Click on the point
Moving point:Ctrl key+click+move mouse
(dunno whether theses tips work coz i dont really use it lol)

Ctrl key and take eveything you cut using ur mouse(like taking many files to copy)
then Ctrl click on the new path
go to select, click feather(put 2 or something=the higher the number the smoother it will be)
Click the layer tab at the right then click background and copy(Ctrl+C at the background)
It will show a no entry sign when u want to copy it but ignore it
Create a new layer
and paste at the new layer(Ctrl+V)
Check ur cut image by clicking at the eye symbol at the background

Changing backgrounds:

Ctrl click and take all of ur cuttings(just like above)
then Ctrl click at the path(same as above)
go to select, click inverse, then click feather (and do the same as above)
create a new layer
go to edit and select fill
select colour and choose the colour you want

TEHRAN, Iran – An American journalist imprisoned on espionage charges in Iran for four months was freed Monday and reunited with her smiling, tearful parents — a move that clears a major obstacle to President Barack Obama's attempts at dialogue with the top U.S. adversary in the Middle East. The United States had said the charges against Roxana Saberi, a 32-year-old dual Iranian-American citizen, were baseless and repeatedly demanded her release.

Hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad could also win some domestic political points a month before he faces a re-election challenge from reformers who seek to ease Iran's bitter rivalry with the United States.

Saberi's Iranian-born father, Reza Saberi, wiped away tears, then flashed a broad smile as he and his wife, Akiko, arrived at Tehran's Evin prison — notorious for holding political prisoners — to meet their daughter. Akiko Saberi, who is of Japanese origin, wore a flowered headscarf.

"I'm very happy that she is free. Roxana is in good condition," Reza Saberi said later at his family home in Tehran. "We had expected her release but not so soon. She will be preparing to leave (Iran) tomorrow or the day after tomorrow."

The younger Saberi, who was taken out of Evin through a back door away from journalists, was not seen after her release. She was staying with her parents at a friend's home, apparently to avoid publicity before leaving Iran.

Her release came when an appeals court reduced her eight-year prison sentence on charges of spying for the U.S. to a two-year suspended sentence, said Iranian judiciary spokesman Ali Reza Jamshidi. He said Saberi was free to leave Iran.

The court ordered the reduction as a gesture of "Islamic mercy" because she had cooperated with authorities and had expressed regret, he said.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said the Obama administration continues to stress that Saberi was wrongly accused, "but we welcome this humanitarian gesture."

The release ends an ordeal for Saberi, who was convicted and sentenced in a secret session by a security court. Her father said the trial lasted only 15 minutes and her lawyer was not given time to defend her.

Her parents, who live in Fargo, N.D., rushed to Iran to seek her freedom. At one point, the younger Saberi held a hunger strike protesting her jailing, but ended it after two weeks when her parents, visiting her in prison, asked her to stop because her health was weakening.

Saberi, who was crowned the 1997 Miss North Dakota, moved to Iran six years ago and had worked as a freelance journalist for several organizations, including NPR and the British Broadcasting Corp.

She was arrested in late January, but it was not known until Feb. 10, when she called her father in Fargo and told him she had been detained. She said it was because she had bought a bottle of wine, which is illegal in Iran but available on the black market. Her parents decided not to publicize the news until early March when their concerns grew because their regular communications with her were cut off.

The next day, Iran's Foreign Ministry acknowledged her arrest, saying she was working in the country illegally because her press credentials were revoked in 2006. But when she was put on trial in mid-April, she was convicted on much harsher charges of spying for the United States.

The conviction and heavy sentence brought strong criticism from the U.S. and other countries at a time when Obama was reaching out to Tehran. Iranian leaders have given mixed signals to the U.S. outreach, sometimes appearing cold, but at times expressing optimism over possible talks. Saberi's arrest, however, was seen by many in the West as a sign that at least some hard-liners in Tehran may be trying to scuttle any overtures.

In the face of U.S. criticism, Ahmadinejad and others sounded a more moderate tone, promising that Saberi's case would get a full review on appeal.

On Sunday, the appeals court convened for five hours, allowing the defense to make its case. Her lawyers emerged saying they were able to defend her and were optimistic her sentence would be reduced.

Saberi family friends in Fargo were elated at news of her release. Last month, many had tied yellow ribbons around trees in the quiet upscale neighborhood along the Red River Valley to show support for her.

Marianna Malm, Saberi's former English teacher at Fargo North High School, was in tears Monday as she prepared for work.

"They are tears of joy," Malm said. "It's an overwhelming announcement."

Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., said Saberi's imprisonment "could not stand the test of public opinion."

"Obviously this means Iran has responded in the right way to this situation," Dorgan said. "They're moving to correct something that was a terrible miscarriage of justice."

Police arrest Mas Selamat’s landlord

JOHOR BARU: The landlord of the house where fugitive Mas Selamat Kastari was caught hiding in was arrested last week at his work place.

Villagers at Kampung Tawakal said the man, known as Johar, was a contractor.

They described him as the “quiet type,” just like Mas Selamat.

Many believed that it was Johar who had tipped off police about Mas Selamat’s whereabouts.

Villagers said that it was hard to keep track of people living in the area as many of the houses were rented out to tenants who kept moving out.

Shopkeeper Roslan Talib, 39, said Johar often came to buy groceries from his shop.

“I heard that Mas Selamat often went fishing at the canal behind his house,’’ he said.

Rsolan said that it was a pity he did not know Mas Selamat lived nearby or they would have reported him to get the S$1mil (RM2.4mil) reward offered for his arrest.

The hunt for Mas Selamat, 48, began after the head of the Singapore Jemaah Islamiah escaped the Whitley Road Detention Centre in Singapore while on a toilet break on Feb 27, last year.

This sparked a massive regional hunt for the militant who is suspected to have planned various terror plots, including crashing a plane into Changi airport in Singpaore as well as attacking different targets, such as the American Embassy and the Singapore American School.

He was previously jailed in Bintan for using a fake identity card and was handed over to Singapore in 2006 for detention under the Internal Security Act without trial.

my mom asked me to buy things in details
before this i always go with my mom and just follow her from the back

but now for the first time i had the task to buy somethings haha(looks too hard)
haha but for me ill just buy what i wanna buy (and looks delicious for me) things that show up in front of me at the pasar malam haha, fried chicken or something

so this afternoon my mom asks me to buy some karipaps(of course i know what is it =haha)
so i searched n searched(just making sure its not there to make excuses from being scold by my mother=haha)
but didnt find one
so sad at tht time cannot fullfill my mother's task especially when she wants to break her fast(its just a side order but it seems to be important too)

so i just went back empty-handed hehe (just missed the karipap=other foods-mission accomplished)

Earth has had the biggest opening day take for a documentary in film history.

The Disneynature production netted $4 million for its first day of release in 1,804 US cinemas, according to Variety.

The documentary, directed by Alastair Fothergill, is the first film made under the new Disney Studios division. Disneynature was formed a year ago to get the company back into the practice of making nature movies, a staple in its filmmaking catalogue since 1948's Seal Island.

The division is based in France and headed up by Jean-Francois Camilleri. It reportedly plans to build on its recent box office success with March Of The Penguins, which brought in $77.4m (£72.7m) domestically.

The highest-grossing documentary ever in the US is Fahrenheit 9/11 with $119.1 million

TEHRAN, Iran -- An American journalist jailed in Iran for allegedly spying for the United States was on her fifth day of a hunger strike Saturday and does not plan to stop until she is freed, her father said.

Roxana Saberi, a dual American-Iranian citizen who will turn 32 today, was convicted more than a week ago and sentenced to eight years in prison after a one-day trial behind closed doors. She began her hunger strike Tuesday to protest her imprisonment, her father said.

"She said that she has started a hunger strike and this is the fifth day and that she will continue until she is free. I tried to tell her that this can be dangerous, but she didn't give me any time to protest," her father, Reza Saberi, told The Associated Press.

The case has been a source of tension between the United States and Iran at a time when the Obama administration has said it wants to engage its longtime adversary. The United States has called the accusations against Saberi baseless and has demanded her release.

Saberi's father said her lawyer appealed the court's ruling on Saturday -- less than a week after Iran's judiciary spokesman said an Iranian appeals court would reconsider her verdict, an indication her sentence could be commuted.

Iran's judiciary chief has ordered a full investigation into the case, and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has urged Tehran's chief prosecutor to ensure Saberi be allowed a full defense during her appeal.

Saberi was arrested in late January and initially accused of working without press credentials. But earlier this month, an Iranian judge leveled the far more serious allegation of espionage.

Saberi, who was born in the United States and grew up in Fargo, N.D., moved to Iran six years ago and worked as a free-lance journalist for news organizations including National Public Radio and the British Broadcasting Corp. She received Iranian citizenship because her father was born in Iran.

Saberi's parents have traveled to Iran from their home in Fargo in a bid to help win their daughter's release. Her father has said his daughter, who was Miss North Dakota in 1997, had been working on a book about the culture and people of Iran and hoped to finish it and return to the United States this year.

Reza Saberi said that he hoped to see his daughter in prison on Monday and that he was concerned about her health.

"After five days, I am pretty certain that she must be very weak now, because we know she is already frail," he said.

Iran has released few details about the charges against Saberi, but Iranian Intelligence Minister Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejehi said Tuesday that the initial investigation of Saberi was done by an expert on security and counterespionage at the Intelligence Ministry before her case was referred to the court.

An Iranian investigative judge involved in the case also alleged that Saberi was passing classified information to U.S. intelligence services.

The U.S. broke off diplomatic relations with Iran after the 1979 Islamic revolution and the takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran by hard-line Iranian students. The Obama administration has said it is working with Swiss intermediaries who represent U.S. interests in Iran to secure her release.

It all started with a call
early in the morning
(just after Subuh like when some people went to work around 7 or something)
i like to go out at the tht time early in the morning
but sadly the shops are always close at that time
only some 24 hours outlets like 7E and D-lima are opened
i like to go out at tht time coz its cold
no one in the road
haha i say tht coz i always go with my old honda cub:TG 8535
as you can see at the top of this post
and that lucky(miserable day actually) i got a call from Salam(haha not the real name) my friend who asks me to drive him to town coz he wanted to apply for yayasan terengganu sponsor (as u know we r just some students finished SPM 2008 and wanting somethings to be done even though our results and reputation are different we still do them together sometimes)

So I picked up the call after dozenz of text messages i received from him and another close friend of mine, Alif (:)) not the real name) to ask me to go too to accompany them
at first i felt heavy to go(lol wrong use of english coz got mixed up with terengganu language)=meaning-braser berat hati
then i felt pity for them so i decided to go too coz i got nothing to do too at home

so i started my beloved motorcycle=the honda cub and vrooms it go
(my motorcycle is actually like a being
sometimes when its moody it cant go fast, but sometimes when its mood is okay it'll go very very fast until i can race with a newer motor and ill win)

i went to Alif's house
tht day we were three only
dunno with everybody else
maybe still busy with their morning doze(as i said b4 thts y shops r close early in the morning=i hate that cause once a Hadith from Rasullullah s.a.w told us to go and find rezqi(do work or find some money for the family to eat) after subuh prayers but some Muslims just ignore it and continue their good nights sleep (unless they r too tired after travelling=that can be accepted)

so i met

Quake hits Japan

(CNN) -- A strong earthquake injured 102 people and destroyed 31 buildings in northern Japan on Thursday, authorities said.

People at an auto dealership in Karumai, Japan, clean up glass shards after a strong earthquake Thursday.

The magnitude 6.8 earthquake rattled north-central Japan, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Elderly residents were among the injured, including a 72-year-old woman who was hurt when a closet fell on her head and an 83-year-old man who fell out of bed and hurt his spine, police said.

In addition to destroy buildings, the quake caused landslides in six locations and forced the cancellation of train service in affected areas.

The quake lasted for up to 40 seconds, The Associated Press reported.

About 6,700 homes were left without electricity after the earthquake caused a blackout, AP cited Disaster Minister Shinya Izumi as saying.

Meteorological Agency official Takashi Yokota warned of possible aftershocks from Thursday's quake, according to AP.

The quake struck about 12:26 a.m. (10:26 a.m. ET Wednesday), and its epicenter was in eastern Honshu, about 25 km (15 miles) east-northeast of the town of Morioka and 80 km (50 miles) south of Hachinohe, the USGS said.

Although the quake was classified as "strong" by the USGS, data showed its center was 111 km (69 miles) below Earth's surface. In general, earthquakes centered closer to the Earth's surface produce stronger shaking and generally can cause more damage than those further underground.

The Japanese Meteorological Agency said there was no danger of a tsunami.
